Bengal druws up Rs 50- cr plan for tourism

The West Bengal government has chalked out a plan for implementation of a number of tourism related projects involving more than Rs 50 cr. These projects are expected to take shape in the next four to five years. "The state has identified four major tourism destinations-Sunderbans, Shankarpur, Murshidabad and Dooars --that will be developed as integrated eco-tourism destinations," said Mr. Manab Mukherjee, West Bengal minister for tourism, forest and youth affairs.
