Dr. Suraj Bhan, governor has called upon the people to protect and propagate forest wealth for making human life healthy and sustainable. Addressing gathering at Naroti village, near Shimla, at the Vanmahotsav organised by the village Forest Development Society, he underlined the importance of forests in maintaining the ecological balance and preservation of water, soil and environment, besides providing firewood, fodder and timber.
