A division bench of Balochistan High Court (Pakistan) directed the provincial government to adopt strict measures to ensure protection of forests in Mehargarh area. The bench comprising Chief Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed and Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani issued the directive on the application of Haji Lashkari Raisani praying that inappropriate steps by the law enforcement agencies were leading to destruction of forests.
