Bhopal group threatens to move SC for potable water

The Bhopal Gas Peedit Mahila Udyog Sangathan, a prominent activist group working for the cause of the victims of the 1984 Union Carbide gas disaster, has threatened to file a public interest litigation in the Supreme Court seeking directives to the Madhya Pradesh Government and the Bhopal Municipal Corporation for ensuring proper drinking water arrangement for the gas affected people who are being forced to drink water contaminated by the hazardous chemicals stored inside the ill fated plant.
