The Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation is to set up a national level biodiversity conservation trust for the conservation of national biodiversity. It is said that the private sector, including the World Bank and non-governmental organisations, will be involved in the trust to be set up with the objective of conserving and promoting rich bio-diversity existing in the country in a sustainable way and to give it a worldwide recognistion.
