For Bablu and several others, belonging to Birhor in Jharkhand, at Salgawan, timely medical help has been a major problem along with several others. Birhor - a nomadic, food gathering and hunting tribe - can be found mostly in the forests of Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Girisih, Gumla and Lohardaga districts of the state. Despite the Jharkhand government announcing several schemes for the betterment of the primitive tribe, anthropologists fear that the tribe along with the others will be completely wiped out if the government fails to do anything concrete for their development.
