Bounce Back Sri Lanka" campaign targets tourism sector

The world has come to know about Sri Lanka, and a new market has emerged in the USA, Mr. Bandaranaike said. A campaign under the banner "Bounce Back Sri Lanka" has been designed to market and promote tourist attractions unaffected by the tsunami with a rehabilitation and reconstruction program costing Rs. 32 billion. The campaign took off the ground on Wednesday with a media conference held in Colombo, where Industries, Investment Promotion and Tourism Minister Anura Bandaranaike announced that his Ministry would work to revive the tourism industry.
