The Bangalore City Corporation (BCC) on Wednesday released a draft copy of revised by-laws, incorporating provisions that make rain harvesting and planting of at least two trees mandatory for all buildings that have built area of 200 sqm or more. Besides, all multi-storied buildings and constructions, which are more than 15 metres tall, will need earthquake-proof technology - as per the National Building Code - as well as parking facilities with No Objection Certificates from relevant authorities.
