India moves WTO for patent arbitrator : India has decided to approach the Dispute Settlement Body of the World Trade Organisation (WTO-DBS) to appoint an arbitrator to gain 15 months to amend its patent laws. The decision follows the relentless pressure from the United States to amend the law immediately.
