The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has passed strictures on the Delhi Government for wasteful expenditure, inefficient utilisation of funds and slippages in the performance on several fronts. It found that the performance of the Delhi Fire Service, the Delhi Trnasport Corporation and the Delhi Vidyut Board did not improve after they were transferred to the Delhi Government. The report was tabled in the Delhi Assembly, on the last day of the Budget session, yesterday.
