The crusade for "clean air" is gradually gaining momentum in the city. A cross-section of the environment-conscious people are seeking a "concrete response" from political parties prior to this month's Assembly polls."Why vote for a party that does not care to prevent slow murder through air pollution?" asked participants at a public meeting on the "Right to clean air campaign" by a city-based NGO, Centre for Science and Environment.
