An awareness programme on protection of wildlife and forest resources was organized at Takampur forest village under Kachugaon divisional forest in Assam recently. The programme was organized jointly by the Forest Department officials of Kachugaon forest division in collaboration with the Kachugaon Anchalik unit of All Bodo Students' Union with a view to propagate awareness among the people for protection and preservation of green forest and wildlife. The programme was attended by the chief of BTAD, Mr Hagrama Mohilary as the chief guest while executive members of the BTAD, Sobharam Basumatary, Reo Reoa Narzihary, Badan Hasda, president of Kokrajhar district unit of ABSU, Gautam Narzary and MLA, Hemendranath Brahma attended the programme as the guests of honour.
