Cambodia's deputy prime minister yesterday accused a provincial governor and other senior officials of being behind an illegal logging racket in the north-east of the country. Sar Kheng told a forestry conference that trees were being illegally cut in Mondolkiri province and smuggled out to Vietnam despite government attempts to stamp out the trade.
