Nearly 30,000 people from nearby district of Mandleshwar have started a signature campaign against the Narmada Bachao Andolan (NBA), which is opposing the construction of the Rs 1,600 crore Shree Maheshwar Hydel Power Corporation Ltd (SMHPC), , which is under advanced construction at Mandleshwar, near Indore, in Madhya Pradesh.
