As the date for the termination of JICA assisted Natural Water Fisheries Development Project (NWFDA) nears, Japanese and Nepali experts working in over one billion yen project fear whether the Nepali government would be able to provide operation cost for running the leading fisheries development institution of Nepal. After the project terminates in November this year, the burden of Rs 6.5 million of the present running cost for the seed production and research centre falls wholly on Nepali government's shoulder.
