Canal breach floods villages, crops

The Ali Bahar Canal developed a 40-foot wide breach at Machhi Minor near Thari Mirwah (Pakistan) night as a result Lund Jamrao and Rajpar villages were inundated. The villagers informed the area people about the breach through loud speakers. Later, the villagers and the irrigation employees plugged the breach. The breach water caused damage to standing wheat, rice, barley and other crops.
