The Council for Advvancement of People's Action and Rural Technology CAPART has extended financial assistance of more than Rs 3.75 crore in the last three years to more than 450 voluntary and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) of the north-eastern region since establishment of its North-East Zonal centre here. Out of this amount, the lion's share went to NGOs from Assam.
