The government has announced the upgradation of the existing parks in addition to the establishment of new ones. The DDA has announced plans to develop a bio diversity park spread over 200 acres in Wazirabad. The project aimed at developing more than 30 different eco systems along the river basin having species of both flora and fauna from the foothills of Himalayas to the Gangetic plains.
