Safety experts have declared the national Capital to be the most ‘unsafe’ city in the country. Speaking at a seminar, ‘How Safe is Delhi’, disaster management experts from across the country expressed concern at the growing unauthorised structures and vertical encroachments in New Delhi today. Three or four storey vertical encroachments coming up in various parts of Delhi like Laxmi Nagar, Kalkaji, Shakarpur and many urban villages were the most unsafe and posed the biggest danger to the city.
