Despite the recession in the automobile industry showing signs of weakening, global car majors are avoiding showcasing their hot wheels at the forthcoming Delhi International Motor Show 1999. Barring Maruti Udyog Limited, Daewoo Motro India Limited, Hyundai Motor India Limited and Hindustan Motors Limited, other car makers would be absent from the five-day event beginning from September 16.
