The first meeting of the monitoring committee, which will assist the Cauvery River Authority in the implementation of the interim award of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal, will be held in New Delhi on October 7. This has been conveyed to the Tamil Nadu Government by the Centre in a letter dated September 25.
