The Cauvery river water dispute is again to the fore, belying the hope that the good rainfall in the State this year had ended the recurring stand-off between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu over water- sharing. However, Karnataka is up in arms against the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal and not against Tamil Nadu this time.
