The Minister of State for Bangalore Development, Mr. Anant Nag, told the Legislative Council today that Cauvery water would be supplied to areas on Chord Road, in Basaveswaranagar, Rajajinagar and Nandini Layout and other localities in the western and northern parts of Bangalore, which were being provided water from the Thippagondanahalli reservoir. This was because the water level in the reservoir would come down drastically in the next two months.
