A writ petition was filed today in the State High Court, Jammu wing seeking CBI inquiry into the fire incident which destroy thousands of kanals of forest land, recently near Bhathindi and other parts of the Jammu region. It has been alleged in the petition that the land has been deliberately destroyed under a thatched conspiracy in order to implement the illegal design of the state authority to encroach the forest land and to transfer the same to Jammu Development Authority (JDA), which was not feasible if the fire could not have been caused.
