Central body starts uranium survey in Pushkar

A survey began in Pushkar to check the availability of uranium resources. The atomic minerals department (Amd) of Central government began a survey on Sunday. For the survey, a 15-member team from India, Canada and some other countries arrived at Pushakar.
The team is staying at the Tilora village. In open ground of village a temporary helipad was constructed. On Sunday, the specialists' team conducted a survey for around 4 hours. They used ultra-modern equipment for the survey. The air-level survey will continue for one month. After this surface survey will began in the month of May.
The ultra-modern technology, helicopters, etc has drawn lot of locals to the area. Many were seen climbing onto roof-tops and trees to catch a glimpse of the helipad. To prevent rumours and accidents special security measures have also been adopted for the helipad used for survey helicopters.
The Amd department has deployed personal armed force here. Entry for persons not related to the survey has also been restricted. Unaware of uranium survey these people are gossiping and making their own special comments.
