Skeletons are tumbling out of the cupboards of the social justice and empowerment ministry, Following some complaints, the ministry has been checking the antecedents of several NGOs, which were given funds by the ministry. And they are now discovering that most of them are frauds. So far, the ministry has blacklisted 48 NGOs around the country. Another 2,952 are being verified for their authenticity, Of these 48 NGOs, 21 are in Uttar Pradesh, 10 in Bihar and eight in Andhra Pradesh.
