The Centre may consider the plea of Arunachal Pradesh to relax the Restricted Area Permit (RAP) and the Protected Area Permit (PAP) in the state and extend the validity of such permits from 10 to 45 days. The Union Tourism Secretary, Ms Uma Pillai, assured to take up the matter with the Union Home Affairs and Defence Ministries on priority basis, said official sources.
