In an effort to improve the hydro-thermal mix, the government Saturday approved a 2000 MW hydro-power project in Arunachal Pradesh at a cost of Rs 6,285.33 crore, reports PTI. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), which met here, approved the setting up of the Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric project in Arunachal Pradesh by the State-owned National Hydroelectronic Power Corporation (NHPC), an official spokespersons said after the meeting.
