The Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry's affidavit, which was filed in the Supreme Court today, says that it has "taken action towards compliance of the directions" as per the court's ruling of April 5. The affidavit details how the ministry has done its bit to carry out the court's order. There is, however, a catch: Till the pipeline between Dadri and Delhi is not complete, Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL) would get the required 16.11 lakh kg of CNG only by cutting down supply to two DVB power stations.
