The Urban Development Ministry and the Delhi Government signed a Memorandum of Agreement to facilitate initiation of reforms process in urban governance in the Capital. Certain initiatives, including reduction in stamp duty and the implementation of the unit area method for assessing property tax, had already been put in place for the benefit of urban residents.
