Absence of planned sewerage system in Bangladesh's posh Gulshan, Banani and Baridhara areas caused the recent colossal damage to fishes in the Baridhara Lake and environment pollution in the surroundings, according to environment experts and city planners. Indiscriminate disposal of household wastes into the lake, both in solid and liquid forms, from the adjacent areas is responsible for the fish havoc.
