Ramar Pillai, who shot into the limelight with claims of having invented a herbal fuel, has signed an agreement with a Chennai-based agro company for the manufacture and marketing of his fuel in the city. Pillai and R.S. Shankar, Managing Director of the agro-company, Manasarovar, said they were waiting for the provisional certificate from the Tamil Nadu Industries and Commerce Department before manufacturing the fuel. Shankar claims he has been running his Maruti car on the fuel for over a month.
