Even as the State of the World's Children Report 2003 from UNICEF, released in the country the other day emphasised on children's participation, Rajasthan could boast of as many as three models in which children's front, "Bal Manch" or children's front, "Bal Panchayats" and "Kishori Balika" or girls forum's are now considered for being mainstreamed into various ongoing government programmes. Rajasthan has 140 children's fronts in eight districts set up by UNICEF with the help of Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti.
