City govt plans e-waste bins

In the run up to the Commonwealth Games this year, the Delhi government will launch a pilot project to set up e-waste disposal bins at various locations to curb the growing menace of electronic waste in the city. The e-waste disposal bins will be placed at markets including Nehru Place, which is famous for electronic shops. Chief minister Sheila Dikshit will inaugurate this pilot project on Monday, which will also cover schools. The government has identified 10 schools and six market places in New Delhi area, which also happens to be the chief minister
