In a step forward towards the governance through peoples' participation, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today inaugurated the first Bhagidari Workshop of participants from rural areas of the Capital. Participants from 30 villages will attend the workshop during the next three days. Residence Welfare Associations (RWAs), Market and Traders Associations (MTAs), Industrial Estate Association (IEA), Vidyalaya Kalyan Samitis and Rural Citizen Groups have been involved in the workshop. On part of the government, MCD, DJB, Delhi Police and Education and Development Department are participating.
