Before the Centre for Science and Environment came out with its report, not a single soft drink sample of Coke had reached VIMTA lab, while PepsiCo had sent just two samples in March. Following media coverage and subsequent court directives to Central government, VIMTA has received 12 samples of Coke and PepsiCo sent for testing from their units all over the country.
