Taking a serious view of drinking water being used for irrigating crops, Anantapur District Collector B Rajesekhar warned of strict action against the violators in Andhra Pradesh. He said those using drinking water for agriculture would be sent to jail. The collector launched the Save Water campaign and released pamphlets and posters asking the people to save water.
