The nine zonal registration offices in Delhi are awaiting clarification on the number of Euro I compliant cars which can be registered. Only 1,250 petrol-driven non-commercial vehicles and 250 diesel vehicles can be registered in the NCR, according to a recent Supreme Court verdict.
