The community forest management(CFM) supposed to be implemented from this financial year appears to be a distant possibility owing to several reasons. Doubts are galore on the implementation of the new scheme replacing the joint forest management(JFM). The Andhra Pradesh state government had earmarked Rs 200 crore for the implementation of CFM taking into consideration the results and failures confronted in the execution of JFM.
