Project Green Earth has been launched in Kokrajhar district of Assam synchronising with the State inauguration of Green Earth project by the Chief Minster of Assam on May 14 last. The project was undertaken by the Assam Police with an aim to plant five lakh seedlings all over the State. Sri B Dey Director "Green Heart" NGO welcomed the Project "Green Earth" launched by the State police department and hoped that programme will be sustained for a long time through continuos follow up action.
