The Central Government submitted to the Madras High Court that its order regulating construction and demolition along the Coastal Regulatory Zone-II was not issued with the proposed demolition of the Queen Mary's College on Kamarajar Salai in the Chennai city for constructing a Secretariat Complex for the Tamil Nadu state government in mind.
