The Kerala State Government has allocated Rs 3 crore for taking up infrastructure development projects in the city. This was decided at the post-budget session. Kochi Corporation would be given Rs 3 crore, out of which Rs 1 crore would be spent on developing the city's east-west corridor, Sahodaran Ayyappan Road.
