Course in resource management from July 26

Pune June 29 The Ecological Society has commenced the admission process for the one-year postgraduate diploma in Natural Resource Management, Sustainable Development and Ecological Restoration. According to a press note sent by the Society, the objective of the course is to impart training in sustainable use of natural resources. The course facilitates a holistic approach in resource management that will contribute to the solutions to local and global environmental challenges and predicaments like the impact of global warming, mounting prices of food and essential commodities, sustainable energy etc. The course is available in two batches; Saturday between 3 to 7 pm and Sunday between 11 to 4 pm. The course is scheduled to begin on July 26, and an introductory meeting has been organised on July 19.
