The Allahabad High Court on Monday directed the Uttar Pradesh Government to decide within a month on representations of farmers whose land had been acquired more than a decade ago and who are yet to receive any compensation.

A Division Bench comprising Justice Amitava Lala and Justice Sanjay Mishra passed the order while disposing of a bunch of petitions filed by Harbans and others hailing from Junaidpur, Sarai Jagannath and Boda villages of Bulandshahr.
