CPCB scheme for monitoring air quality

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has formulated a comprehensive scheme for augmentation of air quality monitoring network in the Capital. The scheme has been submitted to the Govenrment seeking financial support, even as the CPCB has expanded its monitoring activity to include lead, ozone, benzene, polyaromatic hydrocarbon and respirabel particulate matters, its Chairman, Dr Dilip Biswas, has said.
