The Government is not convinced with the results of a two-month experiment using Russian technology that can purportedly create "artificial cyclones" to disperse haze. However, Science, Technology and Environment Minister Datuk Law Hieng Ding said the Government was still interested in studying the technology and acquiring it if it was viable. Law told reporters the Cabinet decided yesterday that the Government would only pay the local agent, Biocure Sdn Bhd, which had offered to bring in the technology, if all conditions of a contract signed between both parties were fulfilled.
