District administration officials and members of civil societies of Koraput had a healthy start of the day on Sunday as they moved in a 21-km-stetch Cyclothon for creating awareness among people about pollution-free environment. District Collector Anupam Saha, DIG S Saini, SP Charan Singh Meena and other Government officials and a large number of people participated in the cycle tour from Koraput to the Kolab water reservoir. The main objective of the programme was to spread the message of lessening pollution and creating a healthier environment in Koraput and its suburbs. Moreover, it was organised to encourage a healthy lifestyle. During the journey, cyclists enjoyed the cold breeze accompanied by the soft morning sun and movement of cheerful wild animals and boosted up their energy. To give Cyclothon a fun filled twist, officials were seen racing through the wind to reach the other end of the park and come back.
