The environment ministry is undertaking a project regarding development of national data about vehicles and traffic growth pattern in the country to gather options for a new meaningful future fuel policy. Officials said Pakistan did not have data about vehicles nor any analysis of traffic pattern and growth in the country, as a result of which there was no integrated policy and total confusion prevailed in this vital sector.
