Deputy Commissioner Seema Jain, while taking serious note of the incident, has ordered a thorough probe into the causes which led to the Mirzapur forest fire, and into the extent of the loss as result of it. A major fire which broke out in 3200 acres of forest in Mirzapur, a village in the foothills of the Shivaliks on the Punjab-Himachal border on Sunday.
