The Paharpur Business Centre (PBC) has accused the DDA of causing the starvation of nearly 2,000 trees in the Capital's Nehru Place Greens. The PBC has alleged the trees that were planted by the company aided by the citizens were being neglected by the DDA and the trees were dying for want of water and requisite care. The PBC had signed a memorandum of understanding with the MCD for developing seven acres of land in Nehru Place into a park and a green belt. This MoU was, however, cancelled recently as the DDA wanted to take over the maintenance of the green belt.
